Retirement savings withdrawal tax for couples

This graph shows the tax burden for pillar 3a and pension fund benefit withdrawals for married couples and registered partners.

The tax due is determined by the total amount withdrawn in one tax year (normally one calendar year). Tax figures for the proposed tax system show both the lowest possible tax which applies when both partners withdraw identical amounts, and the highest possible tax which applies when only one partner makes withdrawals.
