Manhattan Residential Contracts from April 6-12, 2026

During the second week of April 2026, Manhattan recorded 254 apartment and townhouse sales, a slight uptick from the prior week and 16 more deals than the same week in 2025. However, aggregate dollar volume, based on last ask, declined 6% week over week but up a significant 18% year over year, once again underscoring how a relatively small number of trophy properties are influencing overall statistics. The median asking price of signed contracts was $1.395 million, down 8% week over week and 6% year over year.
