Scholarship students beat low-income peers in math

Percentage proficient in math. Scholarship recipients recorded higher proficiency rates on the 2023 IAR and SAT math exams in every grade when compared to low-income students in Illinois public schools. The average proficiency for all public students is highest in every grade.

Note: Illinois State Board of Education defines "low-income" differently than the Invest in Kids Tax-Credit Scholarship defines "low-income" for a student to receive a scholarship.
