Parts-availability issues have been the rule in 2021 according to the respondents to this Overdrive poll question examining owner-operators' and other readers' maintenance and repair experiences more than a year into the COVID-19 pandemic. 85% of readers reported experiencing at least some delay as suppliers attempted to source a part or other supply. Notable are large shares (at least 42%) sidelined for four or more days, with untold cumulative opportunity costs in missed freight.
