Enrollment in the subsidized version of Florida Healthy Kids is 22% lower than what state officials predicted

Even after adjusting the enrollment estimates in December, leaders of the nonprofit that administers the CHIP program and state economists overestimated how many children would join Healthy Kids after losing Medicaid. Children ages 5 through 18 can qualify for Florida Healthy Kids.
