Who's actually getting their money in Nevada?

During primary season, nearly all the Democrats and Republicans running for Congress in Nevada got the bulk of their listed donations from outside the state.

The Nevada Independent used an AI scripting tool to pull all second quarter contributions into spreadsheets and remove any duplicates, then calculate the share of money each candidate received from Nevada donors. The reporter then manually cross-checked the total in-state and out-of-state donations listed in the spreadsheets with the the FEC reports for one Democrat and one Republican. Data includes itemized contributions, apart from self-funding. However, several candidates raised a significant portion of their funds though unitemized donations, for which campaigns are not required to disclose donor details.
