Over half of surveyed problem gamblers report mental health and financial problems

Each bar shows the percent of problem gamblers who reported a certain problem associated with their gambling. Two values are shown for each problem because they're derived from two different calculation of survey results, one statistically adjusted and the other not statistically adjusted.

For example, anywhere from 51% to 71% of problem gamblers reported financial problems due to gambling, as noted in the first bar from the top.

Problem gamblers are defined as those who have impaired control over their gambling that is also associated with negative consequences for themselves or others.
