Airfares plunged to historic lows in 2020, but are creeping back up nationwide and in North Texas

Adjusted for inflation, airfares out of DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field fell to an average of $264 in the summer of 2020, but crept back up to $313 a year later. That's still about $90 cheaper than the average ticket out of the airports in 2019.
