This analysis started with data on 37,000 college majors at 4,400 U.S. institutions courtesy of the most recent U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard data. The data was narrowed down to only bachelor's degrees at four-year institutions, leaving us with 6,164 degrees across 205 majors. The data was then scored across three categories.
