Average Distance to Opioid Treatment Programs by Zip

While the average New Yorker has to travel about nine and a half miles to get to a program offering methadone, those living upstate frequently have to travel four or even five times farther. Zip codes that are grayed out had no recorded admissions to an opioid treatment program.

As a result, there are four additional outpatient locations in Auburn, Monticello, Dover Plains and New York which were not included in this analysis.
