The line chart shows an upward trend in staff shortages at nursing homes. About 15% of nursing homes were reporting nursing shortages in late May, 2020, whereas 27% reported staff shortages in February, 2022. By contrast, less than 4% of nursing homes have reported clinician shortages in the same time. For nursing home aides, the shortages range from 18% of facilities to 29% of facilities over the 20 month period. For other staff, it's gone from about 10% to 17%.
