Connecticut's flagship university will receive nearly $100 million more in the 2024 fiscal year under a new budget agreement than it would have under an earlier proposal from Gov. Ned Lamont.
Under Gov. Ned Lamont's budget proposal, UConn and UConn Health would have received $457,965,460 in 2024 and $426,865,265 in 2025. Under a proposal from the legislature's appropriations committee they would have received $532,965,460 in 2024 and $464,365,265 in 2025. Under a new agreement between Lamont and legislative leaders, they would get $552,965,460 in 2024 and $464,365,265 in 2025.
