Baltimore's long wait for snow ends

Overnight into Wednesday, Baltimore recorded its first snow accumulation this season. Since record keeping began, only two seasons had a later first snow.

Data reflects Baltimore-area snowfalls of at least a tenth of an inch since 1893-1894 as measured from downtown Baltimore (before 1950) and from what is now known as BWI Marshall Airport (since 1950).
