A look at the SEC men's basketball teams other than Kentucky that have been ranked in the Associated Press top five going back to the 2009-10 season, which was John Calipari's first as UK's coach.

Note: Top 5 rankings are for the regular season only. Alabama (2021) and Tennessee (2022) broke into the top five after the SEC Tournament, and Alabama (2024) was ranked No. 3 in the final AP poll after making the Final Four, though the Crimson Tide were never higher than 13th during the regular season.
