More pharmacies missed the Pharmacy First threshold in August when it rose to 15 clinical pathways

The lowest number of pharmacies yet failed to meet the Pharmacy First threshold in August when it rose to 15 clinical pathways required for the £1,000 monthly payment. Some 5,905 met this threshold in August, compared to an estimated 4,284 participating pharmacies that did not. 

According to latest figures from Community Pharmacy England, 96.5% of pharmacies have signed up to provide Pharmacy First, which equates to an estimated 371 pharmacies not participating in the service. We have therefore removed this number from the total pharmacies providing 0 clinical consultations to show estimated totals for participating pharmacies.
