Foster Parent

A Foster Parent, as recognized by the National Authority for Child Care (NACC), is an individual or couple officially licensed to provide temporary, substitute parental care to a child in need of special protection. This care is provided in a family setting when the biological parents are unable, unwilling, or unfit to provide proper care.
