The Financial Times 2023 Research Ranking

Twenty-three of the top 30 research schools are located in the United States, according to FT, down from 25 last year. Once again this year, Harvard Business School was No. 1. From 2015 to 2019, Wharton was the number-one school for academic research — but after placing second in research last year, Wharton was cut from this year's FT ranking altogether for failing to reach a minimum threshold of responses to its alumni survey.
