Grouped bar chart showing Black non-Latina women have seen the greatest decline in imprisonment rates between 2000 and 2021 (205 per 100,000 compared with 62 per 100,000). In both 2000 and 2021 Black women were imprisoned at the highest rate compared with White non-Latina women, Latinas and all women.
