Based on comparing the periods 2010-2014 and 2018-2022, roads with speed limits higher than 55 mph have seen the greatest increase in their share of pedestrian deaths. The share of pedestrian deaths on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less has stayed consistent or declined.
