Population per Bomb Ton Dropped During Major Raids

Population before the raid divided by the tonnage dropped on the city. In other words, the number of people per ton of bombs dropped.

Population/Tonnage dropped. For these numbers, I have compiled several sources. For Hamburg and Darmstadt, I am using data from the U.S. Strategic Bombing Survey paper "Fire Raids on German Cities," pages 9, 12, 22, and 24. For Dresden, I am using several sources. For the tonnage dropped on Dresden, I am using numbers from the USAF Historical Division Research Studies Institute article “Historical Analysis of the 14-15 February 1945 Bombings of Dresden" from 1953, page 3.
