The rate of local COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people in different areas of Hong Kong. Zoom into the map to see the median household income for that particular region.

Map shows clusters of relatively high COVID-19 infections in poorer regions of Kowloon and Yuen Long. Neighbouring areas with higher incomes are less affected by COVID-19.

Data includes all local positive cases since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data based on the approximate residential address of local cases, organised by Tertiary Planning Unit. Excludes imported cases and cases that are epidemiologically linked to imported cases. Data correct as of April 24, 2021.
