Kalaallit Nunaat, known in English as Greenland, is part of the Kingdom of Denmark

The island, the world's largest, is home to about 57,000 people across 830,000 square miles (2.1 million square kilometers) – about three times the size of Texas. It is a self-governing part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
