From 2020 to 2024, Party Registration Changes in Most of Pennsylvania Have Favored Republicans

Only Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties in the Philadelphia metro, as well as Cumberland County outside Harrisburg, have seen net increases in the share of Democrats.

Counties are shaded by the change in the relative shares of registered Republicans and Democrats between November 2020 and February 2024. That means that numbers of independents or third-party members aren't taken into account. Only active voters are considered.

There were fewer registered voters overall in February 2024 than in November 2020; that most likely reflects a decline in registered voters since the 2020 presidential election. Historically, more voters have registered or re-registered in the months before a general election.
