(A) As of February, ECU is expecting a budget deficit of $15 million-$20 million.
(B) The AAC’s new deal with ESPN led to a welcome jump in this budget line.
(C) ECU ended up receiving no buy game money for the 2020 football season.
(D) ECU cut four sports programs (men’s and women’s swimming and diving and tennis) last May, and the reduced team operations expenses were realized in the FY21 budget. (Two were later restored.)
