October Sees Top Nationwide CD Rate Rise to 6.50%

In August 2023, the top rate for a nationally available CD hit 6.00% APY for the first time since the Federal Reserve began raising interest rates in March 2022. So far in October 2023, the top nationwide rate has climbed to 6.50% APY.
