Iowa budget snapshot

(A) Iowa Senior Associate AD Matthew Henderson said the Hawkeyes’ expected deficit will be $50 million to $60 million.
(B) This version of Iowa’s budget was before the Big Ten decided to play football; for Iowa it was close to a $40 million decision.
(C) Iowa’s athletic department, which is an auxiliary entity that receives no general education funds from the university, entered FY21 with $4 million in reserves.
(D) Iowa cut four varsity sports last August (it reinstated one later) and now faces a Title IX lawsuit over that initial decision.
