16 'suspicious' wildfires listed in search warrant application

A recently unsealed federal search warrant application lists the times and locations of 16 'suspicious' wildfires in a 25-square-mile area on the Mescalero Apache Reservation since May 3. The same warrant names two people law enforcement linked to six of the fires, including the Salt Fire.

Source New Mexico is not identifying the two people because they have not been charged with a crime. Hover on the icons below for more information about each fire.
