This chart shows each individual day's numbers of coronavirus cases, as they are reported daily,, county by county, in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Use the drop-down menu on the upper left side, to search for a state, an individual county, or a local region. Each bar graph shows only the number of cases reported on a single day -- not cumulative cases -- so the hope is that each of these graphs will drop steeply downward to zero and stay there -- meaning no new coronavirus cases reported each day.  Each area can be viewed below in two ways:  1) actual daily new cases, day by day, and 2) moving seven-day averages of daily new cases, which "smooth out" the last seven days of cases, to give a clearer view of how things are doing in a given area.
