Increase in COVID-19 in SLO County cases much lower than same time last year

Experts attribute COVID-19 vaccines to the much lower rate of COVID-19 cases this year compared to the same time last year. The data below show the percent increase in COVID-19 cases from Aug. 1 to 16 for 2020 and 2021.
