McKinsey, BCG and Bain (MBB) dominate the feeder companies that appear on the resumes of Stanford admits. Some 44 of the MBA Class of 2020 were working at one of the three firms when they applied to the GSB, while another 26 who started with MBB before making a pre-MBA career switch. In all, 70 members of the 352 students for which Fortuna obtained employer information had worked for MBB. That is 20% of the entire class.
