No surprise here. Harvard leads all comers, with graduates earning nearly $150,000 to start. Trailing closely behind is Tuck at $148,025. Here, 34% of the class entered consulting, followed by financial services (24%) and technology (18%). Not surprisingly, McKinsey and Bain nabbed the highest number of Tuck grads. Financially, the northeast remains the epicenter of the MBA world. The six highest-paying programs are all based out east, including Darden ($146,136), whose graduates earned the biggest starting paychecks among the public schools. Looking for a hidden gem? Take a gander at Southern Methodist University (Cox). Despite ranking just 48th by U.S. News, the program is based in the thriving Dallas metroplex, with graduates earning $111,635 to start. Not surprisingly, Brigham Young’s Marriott School of Management remains a bargain, as graduates snag $120,853 paychecks to start and carry just $22,521 in debt.
