U.S. counties ranked by severity of housing loss in the three year period between 2014 and 2016

* This is a ratio to the "national" average, so a value of 1 would mean the county has the same loss rate as the average, a value of 2 would mean it is twice as high as the average, and a value of 0.5 would mean it is half as high as the average. The "national" average rate does not represent the entire country; it is calculated based on the approximately 70% of counties for which both eviction and foreclosure data were available.
