County gains approximately $1.2 million per year in SPLOST funds 

The Oglethorpe County SPLOST or "special penny" sales tax revenue from 2022-2026 averaged around $1.2 million per year. The total revenue over five years was more than $5.6 million. SPLOST is up for renewal on the Nov. 3 ballot for 2027.
