Majority of Americans support government disaster aid

Pew Research Center asked over 5,000 U.S. adults in 2025 whether they thought it was a good idea or bad idea for government to provide financial assistance for people in communities at high risk of extreme weather to rebuild after a disaster. The majority supported disaster aid.
