Premiums rose quickly for the United States from $1,000 in 2021 to $2,000 in 2014, then to $1,400 in 2021. California premiums were essentially flat at $1,000 until 2017, when the Tubbs Fire happened, then rose rapidly to $1,400 in 2021.
