Data as of 20 May 730 PM. The map shows top 15 cities by population. For Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar were counted. For Bengaluru, Bengaluru district and Bengaluru rural were considered as one unit. For Chennai, Chennai, Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram districts were considered to be one unit. For Hyderabad the counts of Rangareddy, Malkajgiri Medchal and Hyderabad districts were summed up. For Kolkata - Kolkata and Howrah districts were treated as one.
