ICE arresting more Texans with no criminal convictions

Under the Trump administration, a smaller percentage of Texans arrested by ICE have criminal convictions when compared to the Biden administration. The percentage of arrestees with no criminal convictions or charges has almost doubled.

Note: Data is from September 2023 until late July 2025 – roughly 16 months of arrests under the Biden administration and about 6 months of arrests under the Trump administration.
