About 4 in 10 Americans say they still feel impacts of pandemic-related income loss

A new AP-NORC poll finds that roughly 2 in 10 Americans say that income loss during the COVID-19 pandemic is having a major impact on their household finances, while another quarter say it is having a minor impact.

Has income loss because of the coronavirus pandemic had a major impact, minor impact or no impact at all on your current financial situation?


Results based on interviews with 1,434 U.S. adults conducted Feb. 25—Mar. 1. The margin of error is ±3.4 percentage points for the full sample.
