US farm owners get more H-2A visas to hire foreign workers
The number of H-2A visas the U.S. government issues to farm owners seeking to employ foreign workers on a short-term basis has soared. The total grew from less than 56,000 in 2010 to nearly 311,000 in 2023, a more than fivefold increase.
