Covered California rate increases, 2027

Average increases in premiums for health insurance plans through Covered California will increase by 9.9% statewide. Rates for individual counties vary depending on what rating region they are in. Zoom in and click or hover on a county in the map below to see the average increase for that area.

Note 1: Figures represent the average increase within a county or region, but a customer's actual increase depends on the insurance carrier and what insurance plan they select. Note 2: Los Angeles County is divided into two rating regions; the average increase for Region 15 (northeast area of the county) is 8.5%, and the average increase for Region 16 (southwest area of the county) is 9.3%.
