Number of apartment contracts signed in Manhattan per month

Manhattan recorded 762 apartment contracts in December 2025, marking the strongest December since 2021. For the year, the island saw 5,385 residential apartment contracts, a 2 percent increase over 2024 and a 12 percent rise compared with 2023. January is typically the slowest month for contract signings, and this January appears to be following suit.
