Number of apartment contracts signed in Manhattan per month

Manhattan recorded 762 apartment contracts in December 2025, the highest December total since 2021. For the month, co-ops made up 57% of all signings, slightly higher than the three-year average of 56%. In 2025, Manhattan saw 5,385 residential apartment contracts, a 2% increase over 2024 and a 12% increase versus 2023.
