Majority Hold Unfavorable Opinions of the Opposing Party

This chart shows the results of a poll where members of the Democratic and Republican party ascribe specific positive and negative qualities to their political counterpart. The results show that most hold unfavorable opinions of the opposing party.

Respondents answered using a 7-point scale, where 1 meant 'Not at all' and 7 meant 'Completely.' Ratings of 4 or higher were counted as indicating that the quality applied.
