Fewer than half participating pharmacies met autumn Pharmacy First thresholds

Fewer than half the pharmacies that originally signed up to deliver Pharmacy First in England were able to deliver the 20 clinical pathway consultations required for the monthly £1,000 payment in September and October.

According to latest figures from Community Pharmacy England, 96.5% of pharmacies have signed up to provide Pharmacy First, which equates to an estimated 371 pharmacies not participating in the service. We have therefore removed this number from the total pharmacies providing 0 clinical consultations to show estimated totals for participating pharmacies.
