Share of Residential Unit Types Purchased in Manhattan

The share of larger unit types (+2 beds) has been steadily increasing over the last two decades. So far in 2026, these larger units account for 52% of all Manhattan apartment purchases, up from 41% in 2003, and the highest share on record.
