Rise in COVID-19 hospital admissions

Hospital admissions for a COVID-like illness have continued to rise through much of August, but at a more gradual pace in the latter half.

Admissions for a COVID-like illness can be a confirmed case or, in the absence of test results, a patient with a fever and either a cough or difficulty breathing.
