Cities are ranked using composite scores based on four metrics: gender pay gap; median earnings for women in tech, adjusted for regional price parity; women’s share of all tech workers; and overall tech employment concentration.

Note: Cities were ranked relative to one another within this 50-city sample; inclusion in the study does not indicate that every city analyzed should be considered among the nation’s best cities for women in tech.
