In this study, 156 former anorexia nervosa inpatients discharged in 2019 from a German treatment clinic filled out a survey regarding the psychological consequences of the pandemic. The following graph demonstrates changes in eating disorder symptoms with the onset of lockdown in these patients. The survey was conducted in early May of 2020, right after Germany had been in lockdown from the end of March to the end of April.
