Highest bed usage has stretched from Mille Lacs and Kanabec counties to the north, around the east side of Twin Cities Metro, to Rice County to the south. Bed usage is defined as average weekly percent of staffed inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients, since April 1, 2022. Calculation is by health service area as defined by CDC.
