Estimated revenue sources for Alachua County, fiscal year 2026

Property taxes are the largest source of revenue for Alachua County and provide much of the recurring money for the general fund, which pays for many county departments and services. Because Amendment 3 would reduce that revenue, it could affect what the county is able to fund.
